Tour of the Helsinki University Library

Saturday, February 10, 1996 - 3:00 - 4:00 PM:

Mr. Taskinen gave Mr. Napoli a brief tour of the old and beautiful Helsinki University Library. He also showed on the on-line catalogue the many books authored by his wife, Sirpa Taskinen. Ph. D., of whom he was obviously very proud. Here are the titles of just a few of her books:

After this tour ended at about 4:00 PM, Mr. Taskinen drove Mr. Napoli to Stockmann's Department Store in downtown Helsinki so he could do some shopping for his family before the store closed. Later that evening, he would join Mr. Taskinen again at 6:00 PM at his home to experience for the first time in his life the Finnish sauna, followed at 7:30 PM by dinner with the Taskinen family and some of their friends.
