Jennifer Bodensteiner
-Riley's Athletic Trainer-
Jenny Bodensteiner is from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She attended Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa where she obtained her bachelor's in Sports Science. She furthered her education at Indiana State University where she obtained her Master's Degree in Athletic Training. While she attended ISU, she provided Athletic training services for Northview Hich School in Brazil IN.
This is Jenny's fourth year at Riley where she currently works with the team physician, Dr. Mark Lavallee providing medical coverage for all of our sports teams. She is employed at Memorial Hospital's Sports Medicine Institute, where she has the opportunity to be part of medical teams providing coverage for: the Master's World Weightlifting Championships in Orlando, Florida and Greece, the World Fencing Championships, the National 16 In. Softball Tournament, and the Indiana High School State Hockey Tournament.

Dr. Mark Lavallee
-Riley's Team Physician-
Dr. Mark Lavallee is the team physician for the Wildcats. He did his undergraduate and medical school at Penn State, and completed his residency training on family practice in York, Pennsylvania. He attained his fellowship training in sports medicine in Philidelphia. Dr. Lavallee is board-certified in both family practice and sports medicine.
In the past, Dr. Lavallee has worked with the NFL's Philidelphia Eagles, The NHL's Philly Flyers, NBA's Philadelphia 76'ers, the LPGA's McDonald's Championship, and Swathmore College 1999 World Master's Weightlifting Championships.
He is employed by Memorial Hospital as Director of Sports Medicine for their family practice residency program. He also performs as co-director of the South Bend Sports Medicine Fellowship Program, which trains physicians in sports medicine. He has been appointed to the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dept. of Family Medicine as Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Lavallee works closely with physicians at the University of Notre Dame an often works as a consultant. He was honored after being appointed to the USA Weightlifting's sports medicine committee.
