Join us for SJCPL's Mock Newbery Club. For readers ages 10-14. We'll be reading a variety of books eligible to win the 2013 Newbery Medal. Be ready to read a lot and talk about what makes the writing good--or not. Registration begins Monday, June 4, 2012. Please register online or call 282-4607.
The Newbery Medal was named for eighteenth-century British bookseller John Newbery. It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.
